A life worth living
We have some key statements that guide all of the things we do at Melville City Church. We call them the
Colossians Road because they are drawn from Colossions 1: 9-14. At Melville City Church, we strive to:
* please and imitate Christ through the way we live
* know the will of God for our lives and obey Him in faith
* have an eternal perspective
* share our faith with others and rescue them from darkness
* grow in our knowledge of God
* have endurance, patience and a vision beyond ourselves
* be fruitful in the good works we do for God
* be strengthened with power from God and by the Holy Spirit
* pray for others consistently
* share the forgiveness that Jesus has offered everyone, and
* worship God with hearts filled with joy
